This lovely French Limoges platter features a floral garland encircling the rim and delicate birds soaring across the center. The birds, identified as Eurasion blue titmouse (known more frequently as a "blue tit"), feature distinctive blue & yellow feathers on their diminutive bodies. A charming addition to any display or tabletop. Mark of Martial Redon, Limoges France appears on the underside and dates the piece to the mid 1850s - 1880s.
