Elegant, handpainted porcelain match strike from the early 20th C. White field with soft pink highlights, remnants of earlier edge gilding, and colorful blooms in the bowl. Ribbed surface on the match holder sides on which to strike the match. No maker's marks.
Dimensions: 4"Dia. x 2.5"H
Very good antique condition; loss of gilt and maybe (?) a small repair to the lip of the match reservoir. So well done, difficult to say if repaired or a minor fabrication flaw.
