Whimsical and experfly composed, this colorful mixed media piece on white artist's board with shadow box gold frame was created by Kathleen (Kathy) Lester Stovall and dated November 1999.. The work features a geometric tree against a halo background and crowned by a metallic star. Two dancing santas are supended from the tree with gold cords. A wonderful way to brighten any space and to celebrate the holidays with fine art.
Ms. Stovall is a North Carolina based artist who graduated with a Bachelor of Studio Art from UNC - Chapel Hill. Her work has been widely exhibitted in both Oklahoma and North Carolina and is held in private collections.
