Set of two traditional French change dishes. Initially used in restaurants and bistros to present the check after dining and to return the change (In France, it is considered bad form to hand someone change directly). Great for display or for many uses -- holding packet sweetener when serving tea or coffee, catching change on a dresser, protecting rings at a sink, etc. The red bordered one is from Lutece, a renowned French restaurant in NYC. The other is stamped Limoges and gives a Parisian address on the reverse.
Very good vintage condition with minor loss of printing.
