Scandinavian modern aesthetic at its best -- this pair of lovely Dansk slim taper candleholders will enhance any decor. A stylized, spiraling heart shape in reflective silver, these pieces are jewelry for the tabletop.

Designed by one of Sweden's foremost artists, Vivianna Torun Bulow-Hube, (known by the single name Torun), who went on to create pieces, including the famed Mobius No. 206 bracelet exclusively for silver design icon, Georg Jensen. She was awarded numerous awards in her lifetime, including the Prince Eugen medal bestowed by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for outstanding artistic achievement. Her work is displayed worldwide in such museums as the Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The pair are marked "Dansk Designs, Japan, Torun" and come with the original box and insert (as shown).

Overall excellent condition with no scratches, no finish wear; the box has abrasions and surface loss.
