Portuguese Handpainted 2-Arm Pottery Candle Sconce

Charming Portuguese two-arm, wall-mounted candle sconce. Handpainted with a bird & botancial theme. Creamy glaze with yellow border adorned with garlands, cups rimmed in blue and accented with leaves, center medallion of a tree surrounded by flowers and a young bird ready to take flight. A lovely, artiisan made piece to brighten any space. Signed by the artist, F.E. Constancia, en verso, with the notation "Made in Portugal" and "21/R. Ready to hang from the loop on back.

Dimensions: 8ʺW × 4ʺD × 11.6ʺH.

Very good vintage condition with the normal irregularities of an artist's creation; 2 tiny and 1 larger chips none of which are visible when the piece is hung on the wall. One chip on the back plate, a second tiny one towards the back of the left candle cup, and a fairly large chip on the back of the right candle cup.
