Vintage Belgian Weaving Loom Shuttles & Spools, S/4

Fun pair of vintage Belgian hardwood weaving loom shuttles and two thread spools. Discovered at an antique market in Brussels. A perfect gift for any artisan weaver or a great addition to any textile collection.

The shuttles are unused vintage stock. They have an incised 4 at one end and bear the mark of "Vermeulen, Roulers, Belgium" at the other. There is some discoloration on one side of each from the dyes in the (wet) box which housed them at the market (not included). A light sanding would probably remove this, if desired. The thread spools are vintage wooden pieces and retain the original paper labels of their French manufacturer and some of the heavy thread.

Dimensions: shuttles, 16"W x 2"D x 1.75"H; spools, 1.8" Dia. x 2.25"H

Condition is good; staining on the underside of each shuttle. Both are unused vintage stock. Spool labels show wear consistent with age and use.
