Vintage French Celluloid Boxes, Set of 3

Trio of lovely vintage French celluloid tins. Formerly containing sacchrarin, an artificial sweetener created in the 1870s, these buttercream hued boxes are perfect for display or to house small objects. Elegantly designed with a central monogram surrounded by botanical flourishes, the brand name "Sucrédulcor" and "Paris". One example also includes the tag line, "Recommande aux diabetiques" on the lid. Maker's information is included on the underside of each. Please note, coloring of the pieces is much more uniform than it appears; raised lettering is causing shadows in the photgraphs.

Very good vintage condition; no chips, no cracks. Minor finish wear from age and previous use.
